What this work involves
Mature trees are an asset until a limb fails over a driveway or a roof. Most of that risk is visible in advance: deadwood, poor branch unions, growth crowding the house or blocking sightlines at the end of a driveway.
We prune for structure and clearance rather than cutting for the sake of cutting. That means removing dead and damaged wood, opening the canopy where it is crowding the house, and shaping shrubs so they keep their form instead of becoming bare at the base.
When a tree needs to come out, we take it down in a controlled sequence, protect what stays, and haul away the debris. Stump handling is discussed during the walkthrough so you know what the site will look like when we are finished.
